Discover the many ways Common School Trust Lands can benefit your students, schools and community at a free workshop to be held next month in Seattle.

The workshop is co-sponsored by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR), WSSDA, OSPI and the Washington State PTA. It will cover topics such as:

• Funding for school construction

• Learning opportunities, including culminating projects

• Jobs and local economic issues

• Quality of life for sustainable communities

• Sustainable forests, clean water, recreation and unique habitat

The workshop will be held Sunday, Jan. 8, from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Hotel Monaco, 1101 Fourth Avenue, Seattle
