School board members will soon be receiving a packet containing information and application forms for nominating the association’s president-elect and vice president for the coming year.

The position of president-elect will be open to candidates from throughout the state. The position of vice-president is open to candidates from the east side of the state. Both positions will be voted upon at the WSSDA Annual Conference in November.

The selection of WSSDA’s leadership is one of the most important responsibilities of association membership. Directors are asked to review the nomination materials and consider serving as a WSSDA officer or suggest others as prospective candidates.
