Eleven proposed amendments will be considered by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association’s Representative Assembly when it meets April 23. The proposals, which would amend the WIAA Handbook, were submitted by member school districts and the WIAA Executive Board.

The WSSDA Interscholastic Activities Committee met Feb. 6 and adopted a position on each of the amendments. See the links at right for the outcome of that meeting.

The proposed amendments are distributed to all member schools and are discussed in WIAA district meetings (some school boards ask their district athletic directors to make a presentation on the proposed amendments).
