2019 Annual Conference
This year's conference takes place November 21-24 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Bellevue, WA. The WSSDA Annual Conference is an annual event for school directors, student board representatives, and superintendents. It is the largest gathering of education policymakers in the state of Washington. Per WSSDA bylaws, the conference takes place on the east or west side of the Cascades in alternate years. In 2019, the Annual Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.
2019 Conference: Culture of Connecting
Every year, a strong thread weaving through comments by Annual Conference attendees is the value gained from connecting with people from around the state. This year's conference theme–Culture of Connecting–celebrates innovative, inspirational, even transformative ideas that come about when we foster a culture of connecting among students, educators, boards and communities.
The WSSDA Annual Conference offers a unique opportunity for school directors to gather over several days to learn from peers and other educational experts both formally and informally. It's also an opportunity for boards to spend time together strengthening their own connections. We encourage you to join us this November in Bellevue.
