General Assembly: Know before you go

How the virtual Assembly works

The video below demonstrates how to use the platform.

How to share voting credentials within your board

If you would like to pass the credential to another member of your school board, it is easy to do so. The delegate should simply log out, let their colleague know they are out, then their fellow board member can log in using the voting delegate’s credentials. The original delegate can return by repeating the process with their colleague to recover the ability to vote and speak on behalf of their board.

Before the assembly, don’t forget to:

  1. Review the handbook. (This link will be updated in August, 2022)
  2. Sign up for our Advocacy Insights webinar series. There will be an orientation to General Assembly webinar on Sept. 27, 2022.
  3. Review WSSDA’s existing positions
  4. Hear from legislators and topic-area experts by watching our recorded webinar series
