By admin@wssda.org May 23, 2025

The Washington State School Directors’ Association (WSSDA) is pleased to (re)introduce our newest staff member, Logan Noel-Endres. Logan returned to the organization earlier this month as director of strategic advocacy to lead year-round advocacy and governmental relations work.

“I am thrilled about the opportunities that lay ahead with my return to WSSDA,” said Logan. “My primary goals are to ensure an equitable K-12 education system in Washington state, increase representation in the advocacy process, and ensure that all school directors have the knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively engage in those conversations.”

Logan is a passionate policy professional dedicated to promoting equitable access to, and funding for,Washington’s K-12 education system. Over the past 10 years, he has worked at the local, state, and federal levels learning about and breaking down the processes for accessing advocacy and policy systems. He has worked for groups such as BrightSpark Early Learning Services (local-level), Washington’s Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (state-level), and United States Senator Patty Murray (federal-level).

Additionally, from 2017 to 2023, Logan worked full-time for WSSDA in various policy and advocacy roles. During his previous tenure with the organization, his leadership led to the creation of WSSDA’s student representative network and the re-branding of WSSDA’s advocacy work alongside outgoing director of strategic advocacy, Marissa Rathbone. Skilled in both legislative advocacy and relationship management, Logan’s experience will benefit school directors’ advocacy and support WSSDA’s mission.

“Logan’s return to WSSDA is a huge win for school directors, WSSDA staff and committee members who get to work with him again,” said Tricia Lubach, WSSDA’s executive director. “He is impeccable in everything he does, from creating authentic relationships with legislators who influence education policy to providing top-notch service and supports to those seeking to be effective advocates.”

In his personal life, Logan loves to travel and spend time with his husband and two cats, Pockets and Olivia Pope. Additionally, he serves on a non-profit board of directors in Tacoma.

Please extend a warm welcome to Logan as he works to advance advocacy opportunities for all, making a lasting impact across our state.
