The Washington State School Directors’ Association (WSSDA) invites qualified professionals to submit proposals to facilitate a comprehensive strategic planning process for the organization.
About This Opportunity
WSSDA is embarking on a strategic planning process to clarify organizational priorities, strengthen services to school boards, and position the association for continued impact in the years ahead. To ensure this process is thoughtful, inclusive, and effective, we are seeking an experienced external facilitator to guide WSSDA’s leadership through this important work.
“The WSSDA board of directors is looking forward to taking the next step in improving the clarity and strategy around how the organization applies its energy and resources in service of school boards,” said WSSDA President Dr. Melissa Beard. “High-functioning school boards lead to better outcomes for students, so we want to make sure WSSDA is supporting school directors as effectively as possible.”
Why Submit a Proposal?
This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to public education governance in Washington state. WSSDA represents nearly 1,500 locally elected school board members serving 295 school districts. The strategic planning facilitator’s work will help shape how the organization supports the people who govern Washington’s public schools.
