The Office of Native Education and the Washington State School Directors’ Association hold regional convenings of school directors and tribal leaders to gathershare, and dialog together to strengthen our government-to-government relationships and discuss matters critical to the support of our native students.

A Recurring Spring Event

The convenings occur each spring. Early in the year, specific dates and locations will be posted here and on the WSSDA events calendar.

Advance Registration Required

There is no cost to participate, but advance registration is required to ensure a spot is available for you.

New for 2024 — The Time Qualifies as Training

Attending one of the convenings allows school board members to meet the Strengthening Tribal Consultation training requirement. Administrators can receive credit for 2 hours of the Government-to-Government training requirement. Clock hours will be provided upon request.
