These elections occur every odd-numbered year. To be eligible to serve on the board of directors for an Educational Service District (ESD), a candidate must be a registered voter and live in the ESD and director district for which the candidate files. For director district boundary information, please contact your local ESD.

The person elected to an ESD board cannot concurrently serve as a member of an educational service district board and as an employee of a school district, or as a member of a board of directors of a public school district, or as a member of the State Board of Education. ESD board members are elected to a four-year term unless filling a vacated seat with an unexpired term.
