Each spring, WSSDA hosts Regional Meetings in its 11 designated “Director Areas.” These gatherings are facilitated by WSSDA staff and the board member representing each region. They provide a platform for networking and discussing pertinent topics and information. Additionally, these meetings ensure that members receive comprehensive, accurate, and timely updates on education issues.

What’s in store for ’24?

From Conflict to Conversation:  School boards are often at the center of many political and ideological conflicts, and frequently the target of contempt and incivility. At the same time, they are expected to engage as educational leaders with skill, competence, and civility. Regional meetings will provide an opportunity to meet with other school directors in your area facing these same challenges and to gain skills to encourage conversation in place of conflict.

Networking Opportunities

Every regional meeting will include time for chatting and getting re-connected with directors in your region.
