Serving Washington's 1,477 elected school board members
Director Area Map
The state is divided into eleven school director areas for the purpose of representation on WSSDA committees established by the association’s bylaws. At WSSDA’s annual conference, director area caucuses elect a representative/s to serve as members of WSSDA’s board of directors. Therefore, WSSDA board members are also referred to as director area representatives. The information below is from WSSDA Operating Policy 1210.
