WSSDA’s Interscholastic Activities Committee (IAC) has twelve elected director area representatives and a WSSDA board liaison (listed below). The committee annually reviews and makes recommendations on all proposals submitted to the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) Assembly. The committee typically meets two times per year either in-person, virtually, or in conjunction with WSSDA events. Additional meetings may be called at the discretion of the committee chair with most of those being held virtually.
About WIAA
Six members of the WIAA Executive Board are elected from the WIAA membership and seven at-large members are selected by the Executive Board. WSSDA’s IAC vice chair Lori Oviatt serves as an honorary WIAA board member. Honorary Board members are non-voting representatives to the WIAA Executive Board who provide feedback on behalf of affiliate organizations.
