Each spring, WSSDA hosts Regional Meetings in its 11 designated “Director Areas.” These gatherings are facilitated by WSSDA staff and the board member representing each region. They provide a platform for networking and discussing pertinent topics and information. Additionally, these meetings ensure that members receive comprehensive, accurate, and timely updates on education issues.

What’s in store for ’26?

This year, we’re putting advocacy in the spotlight, and our theme, Growing Relationships for Growing Impact, will help guide you through three focus areas: community engagement, relationship-building with legislators, and navigating the legislative process. You’ll also learn how to make the best use of our Toolkit for Legislative Impact, and define some concrete advocacy goals for yourself and your board.

Networking Opportunities

Every regional meeting will include time for chatting and getting re-connected with directors in your region.
