The state is divided into eleven school director areas for the purpose of representation on WSSDA committees established by the association’s bylaws. Each fall, school directors elect representatives from among their peers to serve on WSSDA’s board of directors or standing committees. Therefore, WSSDA board members are also referred to as “director area representatives.” The information below is from WSSDA Operating Policy 1210.
