The Legislative Representative Network meetings equip school board “leg reps” with helpful resources, information, and insights to support their work as the school board’s point person on legislative issues. The webinars also help leg reps connect with other representatives statewide.
The meetings typically include questions and sharing out from board members in attendance, and the meetings are open to all school directors with an interest in legislative advocacy. Zoom links are emailed in advance. Make sure you’re on that email list by contacting strategicadvoacy@wssda.org, and indicate if you’re the legislative representative for your school board.
