The annual subscription fee is $800 plus applicable sales tax.
Subscribers can access all of WSSDA’s model policies via our online portal 24/7*. Each policy contains hyperlinks to cross-referenced policies, legal references, and management or informational resources.

*This subscription service is available only to following organizations: Washington state public school districts, including tribal schools and charter schools; Washington state Educational Service Districts; Washington state agencies that support public education, including the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, the State Board of Education, and the Office of the Attorney General; the Washington State Legislature; other state school board associations; attorneys who are members of the Washington Council of School Attorneys or their law firms on their behalf.

Stay current with emerging policy and legal issues through WSSDA’s flagship policy publication. Policy & Legal News is the vehicle through which WSSDA updates its Model Policy Manual on a quarterly or as needed basis. Each issue features articles explaining the “why” behind the policies, including the origin and context of the updates. Subscription also includes markup versions of any revised policy and procedure as attachments. All markups utilize Track Changes to show added and deleted language, with additional information provided in comment bubbles. Articles also cover need-to-know school case law, an annual summary of SAO audit findings in school districts, and an annual checklist of required federal policies.
