Curriculum Development Specialist

The Washington State School Directors’ Association (WSSDA) is seeking a highly qualified Curriculum Development Specialist that possesses the following key attributes:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years related professional experience OR three to five years of job-related experience
  • Experience in instructional design and curricular development
  • Experience designing/developing instruction and other training for adults
  • Experience having served on and/or worked with boards, education associations, and/or in K-12 education
  • Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills and abilities
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Professional with special emphasis on using Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and project management software
  • Excellent speaking, writing and listening skills
  • Demonstrated ability to calmly and competently manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated positive experience in working productively with a diverse team

Salary Range

$63,000 – $72,000 annually.

WSSDA employee benefits packages are offered through the Public Employee Benefit Board (PEBB), and WSSDA employees participate in the Public Employee Retirement System (PERS).
