Time and again we have heard from legislators that testimony from students makes an impact on their decision-making. Often, this is because students are uniquely able to provide direct access to what life is like inside classrooms. This makes student testimony highly valuable and influential.
WSSDA works exclusively with student board representatives. If that’s you, and you would like the opportunity to collaborate with WSSDA, perhaps through testimony in the Legislature, answering short polls etc., then join the Student Representatives Network.
Even if legislative advocacy isn’t your thing, the Student Rep Network will connect you with other board reps statewide plus some great resources to support you in your role.
