Equity and Access Caucus Meets Monday, March 8

Prepare for Week on the Hill legislator meetings by attending the Equity and Access Caucus taking place Monday, March 8 from 4-5:30 p.m.

In conjunction with the WSSDA-WASA-WASBO Legislative Conference, each year, we organize meetings with legislators, planning meetings, and various caucus meetings.

All school board members interested in the topic of educational equity are invited to join this meeting. We will discuss the large hot topics and small hot topics shared at the Legislative Conference through an equity lens. We will also work to identify equity-based talking points to use when meeting with legislators.

Additional caucus meetings

In addition to the Equity and Access Caucus, WSSDA is hosting a Large Schools Caucus, and student meetings. The first two meetings below are limited to school board members and superintendents, but the students’ meeting is open to any student advocate.
