Here’s the final list of WSSDA officer candidates. The slate has grown to include one at-large nominee. Please visit their candidate pages to learn more about them.

What is a committee nominee?
Committee nominees are candidates who were interviewed by the Nominating Committee and advanced to the ballot after determining that they fit minimum and desired officer qualifications as communicated during the nominations period. Through the interview process, the Nominating Committee fulfills its charge of fostering a strong ballot for members to choose from when electing WSSDA board officers. The committee also ensures the integrity of the elections process and identifies the desired characteristics for board officer candidates.
What is an at-large nominee?
At-large nominees are candidates who obtain nominations from at least one member of five different school boards, including their own, within the two-week window following announcement of the preliminary slate.
Voting
Online voting runs August 27-September 28. Instructions will be sent by email as the elections open or by mail if we don’t have a current email on file. To update your email or mailing address, please send your information to mail@wssda.org.
