May 28 Deadline for Annual Conferences Call for Presenters

School directors and educational partners are reminded to submit a breakout session proposal for the 2021 WSSDA Annual Conference by 9 p.m. on May 28. The conference will be held November 18-20.

WSSDA is currently planning for an in-person event, following all health and safety measures, understanding that this may change if restrictions shift as we move into summer and fall. There may also be a virtual aspect of the event, which would expand as needed.

School directors and educational partners, share your or your organization’s knowledge, experiences and resources with school directors and superintendents from around the state with a 60 to 90 minute breakout session.

All submissions will be considered, but only one or two from any particular district or organization can be accepted. Organizations should evaluate which topics are the most important and submit no more than two proposals. WSSDA will survey school board members in early June to assess the level of interest in each proposed session, and that feedback will be important in determining which proposals are selected.

To learn more about being a presenter, please visit WSSDA’s call for presenters page or contact Christine Najarro, WSSDA’s coordinator of leadership development.
