Window open to apply for WSSDA board officer candidacy
Through May 25, school directors can apply to become a candidate for president-elect or vice president of the WSSDA Board of Directors.
Applications are reviewed by WSSDA’s Nominating Committee to identify people with the experience and capacity to excel in an officer’s role. Successful applicants are invited for an interview with the committee. If the committee recognizes the applicant’s potential for success, they designate that person a “committee nominee.”
Voting for candidates does not occur until September 1, but now is the time to step forward, or encourage a colleague to do so.
